Arriving in Quito you will have a few days to increase your lung capacity as you explore this city located 2,800 metres above sea level. After that you’re off to Guayaquil to get ready for the marathon. In Guayaquil you will get a brief overview of the city prior to the race. The marathon will take you along an out and back route until kilometre 33 when you will make your way down to the Guayas River before turning back to the finish line in Parque Centenario. NOTE: This is Boston Qualifier.

The day after the race enjoy some tasty treats on our visit to a cacao hacienda and relax your tired muscles in hot springs located in the Shuar community. The last 2 days in Ecuador will highlight its historical and environmental splendour on a visit to Cuenca and Caja National Park.
